Probably a really dumb CD wash question

In my last two washes, I've noticed that I've had maybe 4 diapers or and a few inserts (I use pocket CD's) are coming out exactly how they went in- like freshly pooped on. So here's my stupid question- am I just filling my washer too full of diapers, making it harder for them to move around and wash clean? I probably wash about 30 diapers + 30 inserts at a time on a "super" load, even though the washer isn't totally filled to a "super" level.

Re: Probably a really dumb CD wash question

  • What size are the diapers?

If they are one-size, I thought the recommendation was 18-24 ish diapers.

If they are newborn size you can probably get away with more in there.

I usually wash about 20 diapers and inserts and that to me is almost too many....for my washer anyways.

  • That sounds like what I'm washing. Do you have a top loader or front loader? I have a top loader. Recently we discovered that the agitator wasn't actually turning. Still I never had your problem. Do you run the extra long wash cycles to get extra agitation time?

  • Honestly unless your washer is crammed full so things can't move I would think that is a washer problem.  Mine is usually pretty full (20ish dipes plus wet bags in a frontloader) and I've never had poop come out.  Are your other clothes getting clean?
