I have noticed you are asking about when to take James to church, about not being sure how he'll do.  We took Aubrey when she was almost 5 weeks old.  She slept the entire time...even through the loud music.  She was able to stay out in the service with us until she was about 14 weeks old, then she was starting to be more awake and she'd get to squealing and such.  So that's when we started putting her in nursery.  I know a lot of moms are worried about them getting sick in the nursery and such, and I was worried myself.  But I guess we got lucky.  She hasn't gotten sick at all from it.  She's only been sick twice (once with a stomach bug that she got from my MIL and once with a cold that I accidentally gave her).  It's all a matter of what you feel he'll be ready for, but he might be old enough to try it out...just sit near the door Wink
