Has anyone's LO tripled birth weight and been put on cow's milk? A neighbor's LO who is one day younger than DS (so she's just shy of 10 months) is on cow's milk because of her weight. I was under the impression that they still need the nutrients from formula. Am I wrong?
Re: s/o milk: Tripled birth weight = cow's milk?
Apparently the pedi thought she was too big.
I think I'd look for a new pedi. I almost said something but bit my tongue...maybe I should have said something?
how big is she? can't they just feed her less formula? or if she is really hungry, she should eat what she wants!
that doesn't seem big to me for an almost 10 month old! If you see the neighbor or are friends with her, I'd tell her not to listen to the pedi. Where is this dr. getting his/her info. from, seriously?
I will say something if I see her again. I didn't know if I was mistaken.
Dd was 20lbs and 28 3/4" long at her 9 month appointment and our pedi never said anything about transitioning her to cows milk.
I guess all pedis have their own practices.
