LMAO. I read the subject line and the first sentence as "placentas" and momentarily though you were a huge weirdo and couldn't for the life of me figure out why you'd want a placenta on your dining room table.

I bought the hard ones at an outlet store a few years ago. They are like cork board like on one side and smooth on the other. So easy to wipe off. I hate washing placemats because they get all wrinkled and never look the same after the first wash. We actually use ours to eat on. I we just use them for decoration I would get the cute ones at kohls. I have a few seasonal ones but they tend to not make it out because I hate to wash them.
Are you looking for nice (cloth) ones, or kid-friendly plastic ones? I've seen cute plastic ones in the dollar section at Target -- Ava has an adorable one with monkeys.
