Two middle names - thoughts?

Jackson Daniel or Jackson Jay Daniel?

Jay are MH's and FIL's initials. Daniel is non negotiable for the mn...it's a family name on both sides. MH does not care either way if Jay is in or out. I actually wanted Jay Daniel, but he's not buying Jay as a first name.

    I'd probably do Jackson Daniel.  We call our Jackson, Jackson, J, Jack and a host of other things, but I think you could use Jay as a nickname for Jackson.  We use it more like his first initial as a nickname.

    I personally like it.  DS is John Daniel Fletcher M___.  It's a nice way to honor people.  It's not like they get called that all the time but it is their formal name, which I like.

    One of my dd's has 2 middle names.  I don't see a problem with it and I think Jackson Jay Daniel sounds good.

    I like the 2 middle names conept. Its beginning to be popular at least around where I am. my DD has 2 middle names. Her name is Donnabella Joy Marie- we call her Donnabella- not just sticking middle names in to call her that. Joy is my middle name and Marie is my BFF's middle name. My BFF couldn't be her godmother cause she's a different religion so I thought using her middle name would be a nice touch. My nephew has 2 middle names as well and those are his mom's and dad's grandfather's middle names so get to appease both sides of the family.

    On your specific naming I like Jackson Jay Daniel it flows nicely. Plus if he ever "goes hollywood" he could go by J.J. Daniels as a semi made up stage name!! :o)

    If you do Jackson Jay, the entire universe will call him JJ.  Do you want that?

    I like Jackson Daniel better - I'm not a fan of alliterative names though.

    If DH does not care I would drop it.  We used 2 middle names for my DS, my father's first name and DH's father's MN...I really wish we did not but I did not want to debate it with DH since I would not budge on using my father's MN...he was sick and passed away when DS was 8mos.
