Hi everyone! Hope you are all having a great week!
My parents are here in town for DD's 2nd birthday this weekend and I am really happy to have them here. We are having fun tossing around names for the baby and planning the birthday bash.
As I posted earlier, I had my first tri appointment on Monday and we got to see the little peanut again - looking much more like a baby this time! He was moving around and kicking a little and I can't wait until I am able to feel it. Oh - and I say "he" because the doctor took a guess at the gender and says he is 80-90% sure it's a boy! Of course, it is still early to be certain so we aren't out buying lots of blue yet, but he took some ultrasound photos of the "little boy part" as he called it, so it sure seems like a pretty good guess.
Anyway, that is the highlight of my week. Work drama continues but I am either becoming less hormonal or just dealing with it better. Everyone take care and have a great weekend!!
Hi everyone. Not much new here to report. My blood pressure has gone down over the last 2 weeks so my Dr. was able to decrease my medicine. She's happy that it hasn't gone up, but I'm still checking 2x/day and having a weekly chat with the nurse in the high risk department. Have my amnio scheduled for Monday morning and we both have definitively decided to stay on team green. Started working on a registry list and thinking of baby names.

Had my 30 week checkup and everything is still great... all new bloodwork came back fine (no anemia, blood count good,etc). Madison is still measuring a little ahead (5 days). As of right now, my c-section will still be at 39 weeks, so around May 24th. She will watch my measurements closely since my youngest son was 8 lbs 6 oz and born at 37 1/2 weeks. She won't do another ultrasound unless there is concern about the size.
Saturday, my aunt (who I am very close to - I was born on her 18th Birthday) had a baby shower for me with family and close friends. It was so much fun opening all of the baby girl stuff...Madison got tons of adorable clothes. (I put in a couple of pics of my favorites.) Everyone is so excited for us and we had a great time! I am also blessed that a co-worker is having another work shower for me next week. Can't wait, it should be a blast, too.

We're just waiting now. I had my 39 week appt. and I'm only 1.5 cm dilated and 50% effaced. I'm not having too many contractions, so I'm taking a wild guess that he's happy where he is and plans to be either right on time, or a bit late.
I'm actually doing pretty well considering everything...I'm really sore and uncomfortable, but every now and then I'll get a good hour or two, and I try to get stuff done when I feel good, like cleaning or yard work.

I am having an okay week so far but the exhaustion and bloat are unreal. I look like I am 4 mos. along already. I think because it's my second and they are close together my tummy just popped right out this time.

Had the NT scan on Tuesday, everything looked just great.

No news here except I finished my last week of work travel (flights) so I'm in the home stretch. Thank goodness.
My shower is this weekend--can't wait to see my friends. I hope my dress still fits! I've gotten a lot bigger in the past few weeks but am very happy it's the weekend so I can relax. Next doc is the 32 week appt on Thursday. Then our classes begin.
I am now 19 weeks. Still on leave due to placenta previa. I see the Dr. in 2 weeks. Hopefully it will have movedup so I can go back to work.
This baby moves like crazy, except for yesterday. But now he is back to his old self.
I want it to go by faster, but know I need to slow down and enjoy the time I have with my boy being an only child for 21 more weeks!

Our baby shower is this weekend. The in-laws are throwing it, I'm hoping for no drama.
The first trimester took forever and now in a blink of the eye, I'm 29 weeks! I can't believe how fast time has flown.

Well we found out we are having a GIRL!! So excited since we have two boys and this is our last LO.
Also was diagnosed with GD, which is a bummer but I had it with my last pregnancy so at least I know what to expect. I have my diabetes counseling tomorrow morning, but no looking forward to it.

Did my 1 hr test 2day as well as std's the glucose drink was not as bad as I thought. Keeping my fingers crossed I don't have to do the 3 hr test.
That was so funny, hehe. You have 2 DAYS to go?!! Wowzers!
