what was your trigger unit/dose for IVF?

(wanna make sure I have enough, not sure if it's the same small one as IUI?)

    just one ovidrel but they made me pick up two from the pharmacy.  guess some people use two.  sorry i don't know the dose...but i think all ovidrel is the same.  and that's a sc one, lord knows i didn't need any more im injections...

    1 prefilled ovidrel syringe. 

    They told me they do 1 syringe for <200 lbs. 

    2 syringes for anyone >200 lbs.

    Hmm mine wasn't ovidrel.

    I had a vial of HcG that I drew up... 10cc? (maybe, sorry I can't remember exactly)

    I used Novarel - one whole bottle. Can't remember how much water was put in to dilute it, but it was very concentrated.

    I had a second bottle that was supposed to be used for HCG boosters (much more diluted), but I stopped that after they realized I had OHSS.

    To do 5,000 units, I did 2cc fluid in to dilute, 1cc out to inject.

    Mine was supposed to be 10,000 units hcg (generic) but they had me to half at the last minute because they were afraid of OHSS.

    My RE does 5000iu of Novarel or generic hCG for IVF. :)

    Woah, seeing as DW is set, if anyone else has any Novarel or generic hCG, please let me know!  I was going to order some tomorrow, but some already in SaIF hands would be awesome.  Thanks SO much!!! :)

    Exactly. :)  Not IVF, but I draw up 1cc for the trigger, and 1cc for the booster.

    Same as IUI for me - one dose of ovidrel for one clinic and another clinic preffered to trigger with Noverell (sp?)
    A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
    After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
    My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.
