tea collection

love! ginny wore a lot of tea collection last summer and I found the brand in general runs kind of small. now I want to place an order for this summer (she will be 2 in august.) do I buy size 2 and hope for the best or should I actually get size 3? eeek! anyone else have experience with their sizing as a toddler?

I don't know about sizing but if you are looking for someone to purchase some of those dresses from last summer so you can have more room for new ones let me know!!!

  • I'd probably go true to size since their growth starts to slow down at this stage.

BTW this is super dang cute and makes me want a little girl so I can justify buying it!

  • They're one of the few sizes that run true to size for Kira...many are big, but we have a bit of Tea Collection and she's perfectly true to size in them.  I'm thinking she was 18 months last spring, and she's in 2T now.  I think Ginny will be fine in 2T, but that's just my guess! :)

  • alchris - how tall is kira? weight? giiny is almost 25 lbs and 33" tall.

tak - cute dress but I only shop "sale"  :)

lcb - I don't think I could ever part with those clothes. I get too attached for some bizarre reason. I'm too sentimental.  Embarrassed

  • I'd get the 2T. N is wearing that size and it fits her fine. Also, I ordered something from them and they shipped me the wrong size. When I called to ask them to reship, they were very nice and got me a replacement within days. So if it doesn't fit her, you can rest assured their customer service will make it right. I love Tea! She has a new dress hanging in her closet that I'll probably put on her one day this week.

I will be the same way.  I am already sentimental about the first outfit I bought for Kate - and she isn't even here yet.  There is no chance I am ever getting rid of that sucker!

Agreed I was a bit taken aback by the pricetage  Zip it!

  • Kira's about the same weight and an inch or two taller than Ginny.  (I'm thinking she was 33" or so in Nov.)   The length in 2T is fine right now though!
