Hannah is doing well. She's 19lb 11oz (50% tile) and 28.5 inches (75% tile). Her weight was down a bit from last month when she was 20lb 2oz but it doens't surprise me since she was sick on Wednesday night. The pedi wasn't concerned since she is still in the 50% tile (she's been there since shew as 3 months old).
The pedi said her fine motor and verbal skills are excellent. Her gross motor skills need some work. She has great muscle tone but she still doesn't pull herself to the standing positon or crawl. The crawling doesn't bother me since she gets around by rolling or doing this inch worm move. I'm hoping the PT will help her understand how to use all of her muscles to get around better.
What happens at a PT evaluation and the sessions that follow? Do I work with her during that time as well or is they PT just working one on one with her and showing me things I can do at home?
Thanks!
Re: Hannah's 1 year check up stats and PT evaluation ?
Man, it drives me crazy the differences b/w stats that drs give. James was 20 lbs at his visit and they told us that was the 10th percentile! I'm so confused . . .
As far as PT, James is starting this week. He just started pulling to stand but also needs to work on gross motor. I'll post later this week about how it went!
