Sorry ladies, I'm going to yap about sending shoes for just a couple more days. I want to give people plenty of time to go thru their closets, hit up their friends, clean up those shoes and send them slowboat my way!

If have any gently used (or new) sensible shoes for men, women or children, please consider taking the moment and small cost to mail them our way to donate !

I already have many pairs promised... but I would LOVE to have the problem of "crap, how am I going to bring SO MANY SHOES??"

    What is your deadline? All of the stuff I need to get rid of is in Texas, not up here in Ohio and I won't get there until mid-April.

    And FWIW, I think the post office has new "set rate" boxes, right? like as many shoes as you can fit into a certain size box for $? bucks? regardless of weight?

    I'll check.

    But yeah, end of April.

    potentially dumb question, but does dirt matter? My DD has a lot of old shoes, but they have black tire chips at they daycare playground. They are in good shape, but black from the 'dust' from it.

    nah, I think as long as they're not worn and look bad. I'm sure pride is important to these people, but sensible shoes are too!
