Caroline is awake in her PNP...as been for about the last 5 minutes. She is content, has broken out of her swaddle and is happily chewing on her hands.
Wait! I always rushed in the second Brady woke up and now he still cries in the morning as soon as he is up for the day. No pleasant talking or calling for me...just crying. )
The other morning I heard Mortimer the Moose being rattled (it hangs off the PNP changing table - kind of like a mobile), and I was completely baffled because Sam was swaddled. I assumed he was dolphin kicking it, but I couldn't hear him struggling.
It went on for about 15 minutes before he started getting fussy to be fed.
He had broken out of the swaddle and just amused himself for that time. I was stunned, but hey - if she's content just let her be! I agree it's great for our LOs to begin to learn how to amuse themselves.

I would let her be. Hayden amuses himself in the morning and has fun with it that way mommy can sleep a few extra minutes. He will also do the same thing at naptime and it allows me to finish up something I am working on before I go get him.
