I'm sorry if I sound stupid but I really don't know. My babies have been on solids now for 2 months and I've pretty much introduced everything. They stare at us in what we are eating. Could I give them some table foods at all at 7 1/2 months old? They don't have any teeth yet, does that make a difference? When I say table food I mean things like cottage cheese or other soft cheeses, soups, etc. Also, what about puffs I keep hearing about or cheerios or teething biscuits? Do they need teeth for these things, are they too young?
Re: table food question
They have teeth, they are just hiding under their gums. Kids can chew all kind of things without teeth.
By 8 months our LO was eating nothing but table foods. I would give them some puffs, or cheese, or cottage cheese and see how they do. As long as they eat it, they should be fine.
They are under the gums ready to pop out any minute actually, poor little girl and boy, the teething is at it's peak!
Thanks for the info!
