Returning Carters clothes??

Is it possible to return clothing that is Carters? I had a shower yesterday and received some multiples, plus alot of clothes that I know LO will not have time to wear before he grows out of it. Someone told me you can return Carters, since it is sold everywhere. I have no idea where it was purchased though, and I wasnt given a gift receipt, so it seems it might not be easy. Has anyone done this successfully? Thanks!

    I imagine if the tags are still on it, that says Carter's, they would take them back at the store. I know Carter's is sold at Kohl's and Target too.

    If they carry it at the store they will give you store credit for whatever the current price is.

    So it sounds like it is a matter of trail and error of trying BRU,Kohls,target and hoping one of them give me store credit!? Looks like my day is cut out for me : )

    Thanks for asking this, I got a TON of clothes at my shower on Saturday and I have some that are Carters and had no idea where to take them!

    Kohl's has a super easy return policy.  Alos, I think JC Penney is pretty easy with returns too.  Target carries their own version of Carter's "Just One Year" so you can't do it there (also they won't take it back even if they did carry it w/o a receipt)

    Oh good to know, I will definitely try Kohls first. Last thing I want to do is look like the lady trying to return all this stuff without receipts.

    If you have a Carters outlet near you they are pretty good about it too

    I got a couple Carters outfits for my shower and I knew they were purchased from the Carter's store but it is 40 min from my house. I kinda felt bad but I took them back to BRU to see if they would take them and they did. I got store credit for their price, which I was fine with.... So there is another place to try.

    Check online with Target to see if anything that they have is what you got.  I returned some things to Target without a gift receipt and was told that they will only return and give you store credit for up to $75 a year without a receipt.

    This is why I did not registery at Target or buy much baby stuff. I recieved gifts for my wedding from Target and could not return them.
