I'm always on the look out for ways to save money. Anyone have any good tips? I'll share some of mine:
Breastfeeding
Cloth Diapers
No Cable
Cooking at home
Homemade Baby food (we aren't here yet but I'm planning on it)
Homemade Laundry Soap
Shampoo Free
Vinegar for fabric softener
Vinegar instead of Jet Dry
Re: What's your favorite money saving tip?
I thought of another good one!
Make your own foam soap- empty foam soap dispenser, 1TB regular soap, fill rest of the way with warm water, shake, and use
Homemade cleaning supplies
Growing our own veggies
Making our own handsoap
Using cloth napkins and paper towels
In addition to those mentioned above:
* using the library for books and movies
* growing herbs and veggies and composting
* dry clothes half in washing machine then air dry (prevents them from being hard and wrinkly but saves 1/2 the energy)
Walking for excercise. If I take the dog with me and the kiddo in the stroller then there's no health club membership, no babysitter (health club won't sit babes under 6 months) and no dog walker required.
