So when I saw MIL this weekend, she surprised me with a wool soaker! While, I am very excited, I don't know what to do next. I looked at the EFF blog, so I guess my remaining questions are:
Do I need to prep the soaker at all? (MIL told me to throw it in the wash with my regular laundry for a few minutes to felt it and shrink it a little. Is this right?)
What wool wash do you use?
Anything else I should know about wool?

I'm not sure I would felt it...is it the right size for your LO? If so don't felt it, felting by just putting it in the wash could be scary because they don't always felt even that way. It could come out an odd shape. I would go to the EFF blog and follow there washing directions with Lanolin. I used the baby wash and Lanolin one.
I had to put an insert in DD prefold so she wouldn't leak when wearing her wool soaker I knit her. (She is a pretty heavy wetter)
