4 Month Wakeful?

I know it's a little early for this, she's 3 months 2 weeks 6 days.  LO was sttn for over a month now.  Every once in awhile she'd wake up crying but usually we'd be able to get her to go back to sleep fairly easily. 

The last few nights though, she will wake up after about 45 minutes.  Not crying, just pulling on her blanket, playing with her wubbanub, etc.  If I put her on my shoulder to help soothe her to sleep, she grabs at everything and touches everything.  She's just awake.  As if it's the middle of the day.  I've done nothing different with her routine.  It'll take me about an hour to get her to go back to sleep (again, she's not fussy, just have to kind of wear her out), and then she'll sleep for another 45.

Any ideas?  -PS swaddling has NEVER worked for us lol.

    I am going through this as well...my LO would sleep till about 2am, wake up for a feeding and then go back to sleep till 7am.  NOW...he goes to bed around 7 and is sleeping fitfully from 9 to 11 - gets up to feed and sleeps fitfull again till he wakes up at 6:30 - we are soooo ti red!!!  Plus, he doesn't really nap during the day so he is  a hot mess in the af ternoon!

     I'll be curious to see what others have to say!
