I think Jake has another ear infection :(

He just had one a few weeks ago.
And tonight he's acting the exact same way as he did then. He's woken up screaming twice, tugging his ear, trying to stay upright, and just all around miserable.
Can you be more prone to ear infections while teething? Last time he had an ear infection, his first top tooth pierced a day later.
And he has two top teeth about to pierce now.
Could just be a coincidence.
Bah. That sucks.

the doctor told me that the fluid from teeth coming in can cause and ear infection. my baby had one every time a new tooth came in...thats 4 now

No idea, but the same thing happened to us. Both times that DS has been getting teeth he has also gotten ear infections. Ugh. We are on our 3rd course of antibiotics in the past couple of months.
DAMMIT. I forgot to give him his dose tonight. We are on day 8 and I haven't forgotten a single dose until now. Crap.
That seems to happen to Eli. I had to pick him up at DC on Friday because he was miserable. Not running a fever or anything, but just blah. I took one look at him and he went straight to the pedi. His cheeks were bright red and he was having so much trouble breathing.
Poor little guy was so congested in his sinuses, PLUS a third ear infection (he just finished 10 days of amoxicillin earlier last week). So, he's on 10 days of augmenten (sp?), plus Zyrtec at night to help him breathe. Last night was the first night he didn't snore from the congestion so I hope that's going away.
I also think he's cutting his top teeth, which doesn't help at all. Hang in there!
