Some of those chicks are giving us wonderful Canadians a bad name! My DD loves Mum-Mum's, well now she has the Toddler ones. She's barely in the 50th percentile so I'm not worried. We're talking about a kid who passes up cake to eat vegetables. Seriously, my DD won't touch cake or cookies but she'd devour an entire plate of assorted veggies.

My pork chop child was 25 lbs at a year. She is now training for a 1/2 marathon to keep her weight down.
Jo is 33 lbs. She's also nearly 38 inches. She hit 29 lbs at 9 months and has gained 4 lbs in a year and 3 months. Clearly I have done something wrong. Is there a crib to 5 k program out there? Clearly poor Jo needs it.

LOL at crib to 5k. Maddie isn't as big as Jo is. She's now about 29 lbs and maybe 35 inches, but she's just a big kid. Completely proportional and she eats like a bird.

My favorite part of that post is the "doesn't anyone watch Dr Oz?" Asked in a serious manner.

Re: 25lbs at 1 year is overweight
i literally laughed out loud when i read "her kid is a total sugar and carbs junkie!"
the thought of a little baby sitting there being like "hmmm bread or no bread? what would dr. atkins say?" makes my heart swell with laughter.
You're not feeding him CARBS, are you?!
Seriously though like I said in that thread, my nephew was 26 lbs at 6 months and at that point he was on breast milk only. Darn sugary breast milk.
yeah he has some new milkshake my MIL wants me to make for her
why what did he say?
OMG don't you know how much sugar is in breastmilk?
This.

I looked for a label on my breasts but there was none. I wonder if Dr. Oz would be upset that I don't even have a label to check.
