DD's having a ladybug theme for her birthday. I have two outfits with ladybugs on them, one dress and one shirt/pants outfit. I plan to put one on her for the picture on her invites and the other one for her to wear on her birthday. Just wondering if having a dress on her for her party is a good idea. I'm not worried about it getting dirty, more concerned about her being comfy. Getting cake all over it isn't an issue, it's not a fancy dress or anything. What do you think?
TIA!
Re: Did your DD wear a dress to her 1st birthday party?
DD wore the dress that's in my siggy. When we went outside we put track pants on under it and sneakers. When it was time for cake we changed her into a sleeper that was already stained and probably not going to wind up in the keep clothes box. If it hadn't been cold I would have just left her in her diaper.
Our LO wore a tutu.. it was perfect.. i thought the tulle might be uncomfortable for her, but she didnt mind at all. She was so overwhelmed with the people/balloons and new toys she didnt fuss a minute over her dress. I say go for it! GL
