I can has housekeeper? Pls?

GAH.

Between yesterday--the day when I came home after two weeks to the house that I left clean and surveying the horror with a sputtering, "What I don't even," and then single-handedly picked up, unloaded and cleaned the car, put most of the stuff from the car away, washed the cat-peed bedding (DH's solution was to sleep on the couch), fed the kid dinner and put him to bed all while DH sat on his ass and played WoW (and then was mad that I wanted him to both call in dinner AND go get it--a slave driver, me)--

--and this morning, when DH insisted that he get to sleep in since he will be on-call next weekend and *might* not get to (hello I have been single mom-ing it [and hoo-boy let me tell those of you who are that I have utmost respect for how hard your job is, seriously--not that I didn't before the trip, but still] for two weeks while you've had at least four days to sleep in in that time, do you think I might want a little extra sleep?), and then Baby Buttface decided to once again play Poo Painter Extraordinaire....and then the cat peed on the bed again--

I am starting to feel like my whole existence here is just cleaning up one mess after another, and I'm starting to feel pretty resentful of DH. Which is sad, because I Just. Got. Back.

  • I'm sorry. That sucks a lot.

You know what we need? We need a room for Man Time Out. "Go think about what you've done, and come out when you're ready to stop being an idiot."

No games, no comfy surfaces for napping, just a thinkin' chair.

This sounds like exactly what you need! Do you have any Nature's Miracle or other enzyme pet urine stuff? Even if you wash your bedding in the washing machine your cat can still smell her pee on them. If you add a little Nature's Miracle to the wash it should take the smell completely away so she won't keep peeing on your bed. I learned that the hard way.

I wasn't sure of which type to get, but we're definitely planning to buy an enzyme remover. This time she did it WHILE WE WERE SLEEPING IN THE BED UGH. So yes, definitely getting some of that. I like the idea of adding it to the wash instead of just spraying though. Hmmmmm.
