First ultrasound yesterday. :)

Everything is going great, but they changed my due date. It was originally October 13th, but now it's October 24th. Now I have to be pregnant and nauseous longer! :(

The visit went well, except for the fact that my boyfriend couldn't get out of work in time to go to the appointment (good thing I asked my mom to go!). He was really upset about it. He's in the Navy, and gave his Chief plenty of notice, but it just didn't work out in our favor. I really hope he doesn't miss the five month ultrasound.

The only thing I have to even worry about (which I'm not... yet) is that my baby could have my father's heart defect that he was born with. So, at 22 weeks, they're doing something I think is called an endocardiogram to see if the baby's heart valves are developing properly. I'm not going to stress about it unless they tell me my baby has the defect.

So, how was everyone else's first ultrasound experience?

    I'm glad you had a good visit!  It's always fun to see that little bean growing inside of you.

    Hello and congrats!  Isn't the first ultrasound cool?  Later ones are lots of fun when you can feel and see the baby move at the same time.
