And it leads me to the question...tattoos...art or tacky? I would totally make this a clicky except every single time I do, it won't allow me to post it, so please feel free to clickitize my shiz if you are so computeristically inclined and henceforth and such as the Iraq. And also make me not feel as dumb as Miss South Carolina pageant contestant whom I'm currently making fun of in this post.
Re: Just watched "I regret my tattoos" on MTV OnDemand
Haha. I'm not going to clicky this. I'll just give you a long drawn out response
I think tattoos are art. BUT, I regret both of mine. The first is in the "tramp stamp" spot and while I think this is a great place, to me it really is a tramp stamp because it's just one thing. I wanted a big scene and I let the "artist" convince me that my first shouldn't be that big. Now I'm forced to wait to add on to it later. My second is one I got with my sister that says "sister and friend" however she was allergic to the ink (it was her first) and she HATES it because it is like a blob of blurred swollen ink. I just regret that I put her in a situation where she literally ruined a part of her body.
That chick is on the Amazing Race this season. She really is that dumb.
i think they're ok, if they're small. big ones, IMO are gross. as are ones on your neck and face. ew.
there are going to be a lot of nasty tattoos in 50 years when we're geezers. that's going to be gross. no one wants to see a saggy tramp stamp on an 80 yr old.
I totally regret my tattoo. I have a tramp stamp, oh but it gets much worse. I have a BUTTERFLY tramp stamp. The sleaziest of all tramp stamps. I got my tattoo right before the butterfly tramp stamp became popular, so I like to consider my self as something of a trail blazer haha. Sadly that is NOT the way I look at it now though.
I don't mind having a tramp stamp especially since mine is super low (sits right on top of my butt crack) and easy to cover when I'm 9 (and now)0. In most bikini's you can barely tell that I have a tattoo. However I do regret getting a BUTTERFLY. I have talked to my husband about getting it covered up after we are done having kids and trying to incorporate the kiddo's initials in some way. Maybe I can do that the same week that I get my boob job and tummy tuck done hahaha.
All and all, I'm glad I got a tattoo, it is a memory from when I was 18 that I will never be able to forget. However I am not so happy with my choice of tattoo. Who knows what the future will bring though. Ask me again in 5-8 years and I might just have kick a$$ tat that I am willing to brag about.
1. Lol'ed at the Miss S.C. reference.
2. I think some tattoos can be artistic.
3. I completely regret my tramp stamp. I never regretted it until I had DD. But now when we're at the park or the aquarium or The Iraq (haha) and I bend over to put DD's shoe back on or wipe her snotty nose and my shirt rides up in the back to reveal my tat, I am embarassed. I feel like all the other moms and dads are totally judging me for the poor decision-making skills I posessed 10 years ago.
