Macy or Maisie?

We have decided to go with one of these 2 names. In my head they are pronounced slightly different but when I say Maisie really fast it sounds the same as Macy.
Macy = May-see
Maisie = May-zee

My questions: How do you pronounce Maisie? Which name do you prefer? Which spelling of Maisie do you prefer? (Maisie or Maisy?) Thanks!

    I do not like Macy (makes me think of Macy Gray the singer and I detest her!)

    I like Maisy spelling better than Maisie.

    Maisie = May-zee

    And I prefer it over Macy. Also prefer the spelling.

    As the mother of a Maisy (said May-zee)  I pick this name, this spelling.  It does sometimes get mispronounced as may-cee.  I usually end up saying, "It's like Daisy, with an M".  DH kind of wishes we spelled it with a Z in there somewhere to avoid this issue.

    i'm not a fan of macy because it's so dated but i love maisie/ maisy! i like either spelling and think everyone knows how to pronounce it. it's also a cute nn for margaret.

    Thanks everyone for your responses. I woke up yesterday morning with a sense of peace about the name Maisie/Maisy. Now I just have to choose which spelling I like best. SO thankful to have finally picked a name!
