  Our guest room is a periwinkle and my DD will be moving in there when the new baby is born.  I'm so excited that I don't have to paint it again!

  I happen to hate pink & I was having the hardest time deciding what color I should paint the nursery if I have a girl.  Periwinkle is PERFECT!!  Thanks for the idea!  That's great!  And good luck.  I'm sure if you mix in some darker blue accents or something, the periwinkle would be great for a baby boy's room!

  I think it can really go either way depending on what kind of bedding you pair it with, decor, window treatments, rug, etc.

  I didn't clicky vote because I don't think it is necessarily a color for only one or the other... It is a really pretty color though!
