Yay!! Survived starting back full time. Nanny is fabulous!

I haven't been on in sooooo long! So, hi to all. I started back two Mondays ago at half days and then started back full time this Thursday. DD is at preschool 3 full days per week and DS is at home w/ the nanny M-F. I feel SO fortunate to have this set-up, since preschool is a few blocks from home and office is a couple of blocks as well. So it all feels manageable!

And I keep feeling like I'm going to be struck by lightening. Our nanny is so wonderful and helps with everything. The kids love her, she's excited about doing great activities w/ DD, and she keeps the house totally clean and even cooks some things here and there. It's amazing what a difference it makes just to have side dishes available to grab in the fridge!

So, just wanted to encourage others who are getting ready to go back soon. There are lots of success stories out there and you can make it work :) Now if I can just keep my milk supply up we'll be all set- DS is consistently eating nearly 20 oz each day while I'm gone!

    so glad to hear things are going well for you!  gives hope to me...i am only 36 wks and already worried about going back to work! :)

    Yay!!!! Sooo exciting! I'm so glad for you. It really makes going to work a he'll of a lot easier. Also, welcome back
