Do Babi Italia cribs convert backwards?

We need to put up toddler rails tonight but are wondering if we will be able to convert it back to a proper crib later. I had heard one story where it wasn't possible and since not many people may use it for 2 kids I haven't heard any more nor do the folks at BRU know if it's possible.

    Have you called the maker of Babi Italia...I think it's LaJobi.  I would think that it would then be able to go backwards.
