Yesterday while cleaning out my flowerbed in the backyard I found 5 baby bunnies. They are soooo cute and tiny and they still have their eyes closed. Olivia was thrilled and is so eager to check on them every 5 minutes!

Don't worry....I researched about holding the baby bunnies. It said the mother can't pick up on our scent.

Yes, they seem okay. When I was researching it told me to make sure they were warm & hydrated (I had to check for dehydration by pinching the pack of their necks to see if the skin went back to normal). I placed a tic-tac-toe pattern on top of the nest to see if the mom comes and feeds them (I have never seen a bunny in our yard so I will be anxious to see if the pattern is gone in the morning)!!

I'm glad you did your research! a lot of mama animals *will* abadon their young if they smell a humans scent on it. We have several rabbit dens in our yard so we get to see little fluffy babies every year when the grass gets a little young and they start coming out

I absolutely love our yard and all the wildlife we get in it
