Hi, Girls!

Do you like the new framed photo over the bar? It's St. Gerard. He's the patron saint of motherhood.  Did you know that? Me, neither - until my Catholic  friend gave me a little card with him, and a prayer for motherhood, on the back.

So, here's to St. Gerard! I'm toasting him with champagne, to celebrate my one super-special follie. I got the BIG bottle, so I'm happy to share.

We've got beer. We've got fertiliritas. We've got everything! So what will you have?

Price of Drink question: How old were you when you gave/received your first real kiss? Did you like it? Was he a boyfriend? Tell the story

Me: I was 14. He was 20 ((GASP!)). I wasn't really interested in him, but I liked that a guy liked me - I was very insecure about my looks, alas, and even more sadly, thought that looks was all that mattered to boys. 

I told my mom about him right after I met him. I was leaning toward not seeing him again, but my mom told me I couldn't - so of course, I did! 

I hated the kiss. HATED IT!  Found it to be gross, yucky, ick! I was scared I would never like it. Even the motivation to p-off my mom couldn't get me beyond the second date...

I'm happy to report I was not scared for life, and really like kissy-kissy now. :)

    I've been waiting all morning for the bar to open.  Toasting to St. Gerard and your one super follicle as well.  I had a good friend have her 2nd IVF with only one follicle and the RE begged her not to and that one follicle is a precious 13 year old boy now.

    I really want a beer but a fertiliritas sounds like what I need too - can I have a beer with a fertiliritas chaser?

    I guess my first real kiss was also at 14 after the homecoming dance with a cute boy who went to private school but still asked me to the dance at my public school. I also thought it was less than glamorous and not at all like Tom Cruise kissed Kelly McGillis in Top Gun - which is what I was hoping for.

    Hello!  I am in dire need of a beer, this week has been very very stressful!!  I am so embarassed to admit but I don't remember my first kiss!  Embarrassed

    Can I tell a story about DH instead as my payment???

    This week he has called me every day to make sure I am eating breakfast and lunch, I guess he is worried I am not taking good care of myself.  I even jokingly asked him to do laundry and unload the dishwasher for me (he NEVER does it), to my surprise I get home and he did it.  I think he trying to show me that he will be a good daddy.  I just hope the pestering stops about me eating! :)

    I've been staying away, but I just can't resist the virtual bar!  As always though thinking GOOD THOUGHTS for everyone no matter where they are in this journey.

    I'll take a pitcher of fertiliritas with a Smirnoff Ice chaser LOL.

    My first kiss was also at 14, he was 16 and it was a summer romance.  We met on a 2 wk vacation.  He was a cutie, he kept crossing our lines while we were fishing on the same dock.  He lived in PA & I lived in OH, we wrote to each other for about a year.  (Scary thing, I still remember his address to this day LOL)  The kiss was really just a peck, but I cried afterword because I was scared (I guess of what I was feeling).  I was a VERY young 14 I think LOL.

    Shyn- it's good to see you!  Without you and Baze hanging around, we are low on pretty blondes at the bar. . .

     My first kiss was when I was 17 (I was a late bloomer).  A group of us were drinking on a golf course one night and I had heard that he thought I was cute. . . I liked it. . . we dated for about a year. . . I haven't thought about him in YEARS.  So funny to remember that story!

    A glass of champagne sounds delightful! 

    My first kiss...I have to admit that I can't remember my first successful kiss.  I see that will need some esplaining (in the virtual bar, I'm on my 3rd or so glass of champagne...it's been that kind of week!)...I think I was 12 (we start 'em early in the south).  (Gulps remaining glass of champagne...) It was a boy that I had been "going with" for awhile.  I think it was at someone's party or something and we had snuck out into the back.  We kind of put our mouths on eachother's mouth, but then didn't know what to do.  Wow.  I haven't thought of that in years!  Another glass of champagne please!

    It's been a looongg week, so I would love a few fertiliritas please =)  I am dreaming of warm weather so would love a chocolate banana drink right after.

    I am probably the latest bloomer.  My first kiss was at...20! (I'm embarrassed). Some of it was religious (parents are strict Catholics and warned me about the dangers of even kissing...heeheehee) other part was believing in fairy tales where I wanted the experience to be "magical".  I have to say...it was!! Whew!  I haven't thought of that moment in a LONG time =)

    Haribo, you're not that late! I didn't have the first kiss that I truly enjoyed until I was 22. 

    And as sad as this is, I was 30-something before I dated a guy who could make my toes curl with his kisses. (And he was otherwise an A-hole!).

    I'll have a Peach Bellini. MMM...Italian for dinner sounds good...Oooh, can I also have a fertilirita shot please. Or maybe 2, or 3...

    Anyway, my first kiss was when I was 13. I went to a huge party with a friend and there were a lot of kids there from surrounding schools that I didn't know(apparently my parents had no idea that I would be going to a party or I never would have been allowed to step foot outside the house--I was a good girl, but loved to hang out with the "bad" boys.) One of the guys a couple years older was pretty cute, so we chatted it up for the evening, and then all of a sudden he was jamming his tongue in my mouth. Needless to say, it was a sucky first kiss. I never saw him again after that party that night. And, I don't even remember his name.

    I'm feelin' a mojito tonight.  (raises glass...) To St. Gerard!  I was also a bit of a late bloomer.  I was so awkward in middle school I couldn't even talk around boys!  I was 16 and my first kiss was with my first boyfriend which also resulted in my first broken heart 9 months later.  It was a typical first make out session in his parents basement.  He was not a great kisser, but after making out with each other for 9 months, I have to say, we got pretty good.  So I guess I owe him that much.  Thanks for the practice (insert name here) and guess what, I win because your really fat and bald now and I'm still really cute!  Oh and I have a really hot husband now too so meh.
    I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...

    Yay for great kisses in our 20's =)  I know exactly what you mean tho about guys who make your toes curl with their kisses but turn out to be jerks =)
