Question of the Day: What makes your day go by faster than usual?
For the most part I can't complain about the days dragging for me, which is weird since I'm in the hospital, but I get to work from here so, the daytime hours do go by pretty fast. I'm not a big fan of daytime tv, so most of the time i just turn it off, listen to my ipod and work.
I also like to update my blog, it's like my outlet for everything.
Update: I will have mad it to 32 weeks on Sunday!!! On the home stretch to get to 34!! They will also do another growth US on Monday to guesstimate, because I don't put too much faith in them, to see what's she's weighing now. Other than that she's looking good and we are in the final stretch here, just a couple days past two weeks left!!

Watching stuff off the tivo helps too.

Question of the Day: What makes your day go by faster than usual?
Answer: If I get into a good TV series- the time goes by quickly. Right now I'm into 24, but Heroes took up a good amount of time, and Madmen. These hold my attention and I look forward to watching the next episodes- so the time goes faster. If I have to wait for netflix to come in the mail- the day drags by.
Updates: I have to vent. My girlfriends (none of them have kids) are doing a girl's weekend in Atlantic City in 2 weeks. I wish they didn't even tell me. It seriously bummed me out.
**Kathryn- Congrats on making it to 24w! It's a big milestone!
**Shipoopi- how was your stay in the hospital? Hopefully, uneventful. Don't you feel better knowing you've gotten the steroid shots?
**Also thinking of Becca and her little ones. I can't wait for an update!

Question of the Day: What makes your day go by faster than usual?
I am by no means a pro since I just started but I am looking forward to other people's responses! I think I have ready from other comments on this board that it is very helpful to have a routine. Looking forward to setting an informal routine up in the next couple of days. Also, I plan to have as many visitors as possible. I need to make it 6 to 8 more weeks on bedrest which seems very possible based on what I have read from the other girls here. Good luck to all!

Question of the Day: What makes your day go by faster than usual?
Answer: Well, today was my first official day, and I had my 3-d ultrasound, so I drove to dr's office and home. What I see as making my days go faster: Netflix, The Bump, and Pogo.com.
Updates: Little man didn't quite cooperate for 3-d u/s, he kept putting his hands in front of his face, so we get to go back next Wednesday to try again. I'm taking the Procardia every 3-6 hours, and I haven't felt as many contractions today, so I hope this means it's working!
Edit: I'm just seeing Debbie's post, we have the same EDD, and were placed on bedrest 1 day apart...whoa!

Question of the Day:Oooo so many things. Appointments for sure! Good TV or movies (Mad Men rocked my world) I will soon be starting Big Love.
Visitors are super good at passing the day, naps....getting sucked into a good book....DH being at home, playing Wii together and the most dangerous of all- shopping online! (Thankfully I mainly have carts that I don't have any intention of checking out!)
Updates: Mom and dad are coming for the week-end, I'm having some maternity pics taken with mom and DH ( we split them up so I wouldn't be up for too long), and then on Monday I have my 31 week appt and cervical check! Hoping for good news!
**I too can't wait to hear about Becca!**
Yes! Crystal let's please keep in touch! I have a short cervix and contractions too. I hope the new bed rest goes smooth for both of us! I just got home from the hospital today so the first 5 hours have not been bad. LOL. Long way to go. I want to make it to 36 weeks too, but I will be thrilled with 34 weeks. How far apart were your contractions? Can you still feel them? I think I have felt two today since I have been home. I am having anxiety about not being in the hosital on the monitor, but I know they told me that a few per day were normal. I go back to the dr on Tuesday too for another cervix check. How often are you going to the doctor? Sorry, lots of questions for you!

Question of the Day: What makes your day go by faster than usual?
Answer: Usually when I watch tv or play on the computer it seems to go by fast. I also have been doing some cross stitching projects. What I really hate is when I fall asleep during the day because then I don't sleep at night and that makes the day drag.
Update: This week has been a rollercoaster for me. The doctor wants me to get up a little and I think I overdid it a few times, because I really haven't been feeling up to par at all. Most of my symptoms are back and with a venegence. Luckily my BP has been staying below 150/90 so thats a plus.
