Feedback on boy's name requested

What do you think of Roman Porter?  I'm not sold on it yet, but would like some opinions.

    I love Roman. Porter just sounds like beer to me so I wouldn't pick it, but I also don't find it offensive.

    I should've mentioned that the Porter is an old family name on my side.  I'm not sold on it yet.  I actually like middle names that start with "A" but our last name starts with a G, so I don't want the initials to be "RAG."  Would love suggestions on middle names.

    Roman Xavier, Roman Carter, Roman David, Roman Brad, Roman Paul, Roman Patrick, Roman James, Roman Anthony sounds great though that gives you "RAG"

    Thanks for the suggestions!  Keep 'em coming.  I'm going to run a few by my husband this evening.  I may stay away from Porter.  I'm pretty sure Roman will be the first name.

    This!  Perhaps you can find a Roman Porter (or at least a fake one) at the Venetian in Las Vegas.

    I really like Roman, I'd pair it with something like Michael.  I like the way the M's sound.

    I actually have to agree! I keep reading it as if Roman is really an adjective, describing the "real" name that follows. Which I know is bunk and I actually like Roman as a name. I guess I never heard it along with a middle to make that strange connection before lol.
