I am capable! We are telling our families the baby's name tonight and since SIL couldn't be there I met her for lunch. VIP name share for her! After I told her she was excited and said MIL would be too. She said MIL was SO afraid we were going to name her Bella because she thinks it is a horrible name and sounds awful with our last name.

I am not sure where she got the idea that we like it, and I don't think Bella is a horrible name... it just isn't on our list. Anyway, part of me wants to tell her the name is Bella before we give them the blankets with the last name. LOL

I know! I had to laugh because SIL said she was truly worried. If I was meaner I could play off this. lol

I think she'll like Molly though.

I'd TOTALLY say her name is Bella before you give the blanket!!

Just make her sweat a little. See her reaction.

You have to come up with a couple minute "dialogue" with you and your DH to keep it going.

I know this isn't the answer you were looking for, but I'd TOTALLY do it! Hehe!

Oh man, we had some serious drama with baby names last time. This time we said we would share when my parents were visiting and it would be "Here is her name, like it or zip it!" With Brooke DH's family tore me apart over name options.

"That is a dog's name!"

"She won't be successful with that name."

This time I am hearing.

"Well it HAS to go with Brooke, remember that"

"I think you need to name her _____."

"Will I even like it?"

We need to tell to get this over with, lol

I am convinced every name is a dog's name! lol Seriously though. Our dog's name is Jake. I mean, I knew a lab named Molly. I'm not worried but apparently she is.

If any of our family acted like that we would just not share the name with them until the LO was born. This is pretty ridiculous.
