He will not stop crying!

WOW, today has by far been our worst day yet, i do not know what to do, he just keeps crying, iv tried everything, im not giving him bottles because he seems to be starving!

I need DH to come home like now! 4 more hours! 

Wish me luck!

    He's probably hitting a growth spurt if he's acting hungry. Is he nursing nonstop? This is when you just park on the sofa and nurse away.

    six weeks was a tough growth spurt. Keep him on the boob...it'll pass!

    Sounds like you have a good little growth spurt going! I've found there's nothing that can be done for them sometimes than to try and soothe them, make sure they are safe, and try not to let it stress you out. As long as you know you've fed him and changed him and he's not tired, you are ok! Dont worry-it wont last forever!

    *Growth spurts only occur sporadically from birth to about 17-18 Yes

    this is what iv been doing, as soon as he stops he starts again... holy smokes... iv heard about this growth spurt but wow....Indifferent

    haveyou tried putting him naked on your bare chest? That and just leaving him alone are the two "last resort" options with DS. Sometimes he jsut is really fighting sleep and the warmth of my chest puts him out, and othertimes he just wants to be left alone.

     I have a weird child. When he's really fussy I just put him in his bouncer seat and he happily babbles to himself and chews on his fingers for awhile. He's taken to being very offended by the toys that attach to his bouncer so I don't put them on anymore. 

     I hope you figure something out- I just want to cry when I can't figure out what's wrong.

    I feel your pain. We have been on the couch, nursing non stop since 7am.....its rough

    That is probably what it is.  I'm going through the same thing right now.

    HANG IN THERE LADY! It sucks, but it gets better. I hated hearing that from bumpies when I was going through it but it's the truth. This phase too shall come to an end.

    Thank you all for the support, i just ended up sitting here crying with him at one point. Man, looking into his eyes and he looks like something is wrong and he does not know what it is either. Just killed me.

    We did try the naked chest, and he ended up falling asleep on me for about 40 minutes, i slept to! thank goodness. he woke up fed, and i changed him and now he seems to be a little bit better. I hope this passes fast! 

    GL to the others who are sitting on the couch naked like me!! LOL!
