Milk transition

I know this has been asked a thousand times but when are you going to start transitioning over to whole milk? DD still takes 4 8 oz bottles of formula a day and I am just curious as to when to start transitioning her over to whole milk?

    I am waiting till the day after her first birthday.  I am going to try to just make the switch completely but if she doesnt like it i will mix half and half and ween her that way.

    We did it when he was 11 1/2 months old.  Started mixing just his evening bottle with just 2oz of whole milk and the rest formula.  Over the next 2 weeks, we slowly increased the whole milk and lessened the formula.  The night before his first birthday, we used our last scoop of formula (we ran out). So that was that.  DS still gets an evening bottle (all whole milk), but he also gets milk in a sippy throughout the day.  And sometimes I'll give him a 4oz bottle of milk before nap.

    Thanks! That is what we were planning but I just wanted to see what others did or were planning to do.
