LOL - 0-3 FFFC Thread

Remember ladies, no flaming even if you really want to say something. You're more than welcome to judge silently if it makes you feel better. None of us are even close to perfect so keep that in mind please.

  • I am nervous about women who think its' "perfect'' just not to live in a constant hailstorm.

There was a post on the 2nd tri awhile back with someone saying her husband liked to grab her boobs even though it made her cry in pain. When someone pointed out it wasn't normal, a HUGE load of women got on there telling us not to judge and wasn't it nice to live perfect lives with prince charming husbands.

That really scares me. I think its ok to flame asshattery, always. I think the idea that supporting the poster means you have to agree with them is odd.

OMG - so their idea of Prince Charming is anyone who doesn't sexually harass their wife?  Wow low standards and I must say then that DH would floor them all and I would be shunned because he's so awesome.  You know he does stuff with the kids, he helps around the house, he respects me, all that jazz - maybe I shouldn't take it for granted that that's how a decent husband acts.

  • I think that's it. you don't have to have "the perfect marriage' to have a husband who treats you with respect and doesn't want to inflict pain on you. My husband leaves his socks everywhere and its gross. He also leaves his beard hair in the sink. Far from perfect, but far from hurting me for fun. There is midpoint.

You don't have to be "the perfect mother" to not throw your baby around, scream nonsense at your husband, or leave your kid in the bath for 10 minutes at a time. KWIM?

  • I'm getting a nervous twitch from not flaming them.

I so badly want to add to the craziness by posting something like "My 6 day old sleeps facedown under blankets and I don't check on him all night. But he has very good head control for a 6 day old!!!"
