**Weekly Lovenox (Heparin) Ladies Check-in**

Happy Friday All!  Its time again for our weekly check-in.  How is everyone feeling?

    Hi!

    I'm on Lovenox and soon to start heparin. I've been on Lovenox since my BFP and I'm due 5/8 (although most likely going sooner). I have lupus anticouglant so I'm on Lovenox and BA.

    QOTW: I spoke to my hemotologist and he said it was OK to breastfeed on Lovenox, as well as what the girls said online. I hope all stays true!

    I am feeling nauseous.  More so today than I have all week.

    QOTW:  I would love to BF, but I'm not set on it.  I haven't even looked at anything regarding Lovenox and BF... Probably should, huh??  I will when I get farther along, though.  Right now I'm just taking this pregnancy one day at a time.

    Still here, though warned I am not likely to make it to my schedule c-section date of 5/24...preeclampsia is creeping in.

    Anyway - I plan to breastfeed and have been told it's totally fine to do so on Lovenox, by both my MFM and hemotologist.

    I am OK today, had a major bought of m/s after lunch...but I slept great last night so I feel pretty well today.

    I bf my DD while on Lovenox pp and it was a breeze! It had no effects on her or me. I hope to be as lucky this time!

     Edited to add due date of 10/13. I will have a planned c/s at least one week earlier though. Right now baby is measuring 5 days ahead so they are on the fence about changing my due date. For now, it's LMP date though.

    Hi, I'm new here.  I've been on prophylactic Lovenox (40 mg/day) since the start of my IVF cycle.  I don't have a diagnosed clotting disorder, but had a pulmonary embolism (blood clot in the lung) while using NuvaRing for birth control 6 years ago.  My EDD is 11/11.

    QotW: I really want to breastfeed, and I was told it is safe to take Lovenox while pregnant and breastfeeding.

    I have a blood clotting disorder called Protein C Deficiency. Does anyone else have this?

     I am only about 6 weeks pregnant and my 1st doctors appointment is not until mid April. Is anyone on treatment for this disorder? Shots or pills? Risks?

    A little nervous about the treatment and wondering if I need to see the doctor sooner than later.

    happy friday everyone! i am not planning on BF but for other reasons than being on lovenox.  from what i have been told by all of my docs that it is totally safe to BF while on lovenox.

    Hi everyone!  I'm doing fine but everyday it's different depending on if I can keep my food down or not.

    I actually had an appointment with mfm this morning and the plan is for me to switch to coumadin once I deliver and they said that there is no significant amount that the baby can get from me BF.

    Last time I was switched to Coumadin after delivery, bc I developed a heparin dependent antibody (basically I became allergic). Not sure what the plan is this time.

    Hi, 

    I have had 3 previous miscarriages.  I am currently pregnant and my due date is 10.18.10.  I am on Lovenox and baby ASA for Factor V Leiden.  I just want this baby to stick!

    Feeling much better.  I think the 1st tri sickness has worn off finally!!

     I BFed my son while on lovenox and had no issues.  My hematologist said its safe.  Hopefully this baby will cooperate as well.  I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

    Hi there!  I responded to your post re: acu below.  :)

    My EDD is actually 6/28...I have a feeling I'm going to be induced at 39 weeks though, so we'll see.

    PCOS, lupus anticoagulant, MTHFR (A1298C, one copy) 2 IUIs & 1 IVF = BFN FET#1 = It's a girl! Born 7.1.10 FET#2 = c/p FET#3 = Twin girls! Born on 3.16.12 at 33w2d due to severe pre-E. After 4 weeks in the NICU they are home! Lilypie Third Birthday tickers
