Baby girl has a name!

I realized that I never shared baby girl's name with you ladies. We aren't telling our family, so I only refer to her on Facebook as Miss C. Our baby girl will be Charlotte Emi.

My grandfather's name was Charles, and Charlotte is the feminine form. His initials were also C.E. Emi is Japanese, and in honor of DH's grandmother, who is from Okinawa.

I really like it! I thought Charlotte is a pretty name.

I have been stuck on "Charlie" for a boy for months now - Not Charles but Charlie and Robert HATES it - LOL

I love it! Is "Emi" pronounced like "Emmie," or with the emphasis on the "mi" like Em-ME? I just want to make sure I'm saying it correctly in my head!

Everything we can find shows it pronounced like "Emmie." We're going to check with DH's grandma after baby girl gets here to make sure we have it right.
