XP:Need some advice--NBR

The little girls that live next door just came over to ask if a dog running around was ours, and they had twins with them. They were probably about 3.

Well, one of the twins had a black eye on her left side, and a huge bump on the right side of her head, and a scratch down the side of her face. I asked the girls what happened and they said, "We don't know she won't tell us and her mom won't either!"

So, my question-does this sound suspicious to you or is it just me? And if so, what should I do?

    Do you know the mom, cause if you do maybe I would ask the mom if everything is ok! But that might not go over well, I honestly don't know. It does sound really weird though!

    The older girls' mom babysits the little twins, so I don't know the actual mom at all except when I see her dropping and picking them up. My neighbor I've talked to a few times but I think she would tell me to mind my own business if I were to ask her.

    Sounds par for the course with twins :) Natalie always has scratches and Audrey always has bite marks. They like to UFC fight.

    Lol maybe! I just thought it was weird that the mom wouldn't tell anyone what happened. Plus, the mom's bf is my age and I really wouldn't be surprised if he were capable of doing something like that, or be with someone that was!
