This time around I had some implantation spotting (it looked just like I was going to start my period). Then a few days later another tiny bit of spotting. We saw the hb last week and things are going great so far!
1st pregnancy I had brown spotting that turned into on and off red bleeding. That ended in m/c. This one I had spotting for a few days around 6 weeks but everything is ok.

I had brown spotting for 6 weeks with my DD and then a significant red bleed at 12 weeks. She was born healthy at 41 1/2 weeks.
I also had a tiny bit of brown spotting at 4 weeks with this pregnancy and a red bleed at 9 weeks. I have been diagnosed with placenta previa and it's thought that the placenta was moving and caused the bleed. The same reason was given for my red bleed with DD.
No spotting at all with my m/c. Obviously, I'm not far enough to call this one a success yet, but I had quite a bit of brown spotting during weeks 4 and 5 and then saw a strong heartbeat and a perfectly on-track LO at 7w1d.
I had bleeding with both pregnancies. The twin's bleeding never stopped. I bled from week 6-12 and then from14-16.
This pregnancy had bleeding around week 7. It stopped and everything is going well.

A Butterfly lies beside us
like a sunbeam
and for a brief moment,
its beauty and glory
belong to our world.
But then it flies on again.
And though we wish it could have stayed
we feel so lucky to have seen it.
In loving memory of MrsTyson's precious Julia.
Re: So they say spotting is common...
I had it with my first pg - bright red, and he's 3 now.
I had zero spotting with the pregnancy that ended in m/c.
So far, I've had two bouts of spotting this go round and we saw the little booger kicking and waving yesterday.
