TTC after 35

I told my MIL something about ttc she didn't know!

LOL  We were discussing my dad - he was a twin and my grandma was told he was a singleton.  His brother was a great deal smaller than he was and she was told that he was conceived at a different time.  Impossible.  My MIL didn't know this.  So I had to tell her how our bodies work.  She told me that she had recently seen something that said a woman had conceived two babies at different times.  I then wondered if the woman had two utes, she was shocked.  She had never heard of such a thing.  LOL  I had to explain that to her too.  :D  The things you learn on these board!

Anyone feel like they could be a fert. doc?

  • I'm full of random facts like this and I love shocking people with them.  I watch lots of Discovery Channel and Nat. Geographic.  I have also heard of women with 1 ute just spitting out 2 eggs a couple of weeks apart and both manage to get fertilized!  Its really funny when the twins have different fathers!  Maybe not so much funny as scandalous.:)
I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...

  • My mom is fascinated with the how IVF process that we are in the middle of now works.  I keep her informed and she is always asking tons of questions.  I am touched that she is so interested and that she is so supportive.
