Seriously Mom??

My hairdresser just called to reschedule...

She proceeded to tell me that my Mom told her all about my "issues".  For twenty minutes, I had to listen about all the things she thinks I'm doing wrong. 

My most favorite one had to be that I should start hanging around children more often -- because she thinks that would release "motherly" hormones in my body and I would probably conceive MUCH faster.  I also got the classic "you're trying much too hard" - she said to just stop trying.

Time to call my RE and cancel my Saturday b/w appt, and my f/u appt on April 7.  All I need to do is hang around some kids and stop having sex.  Magic.  Who knew?

I should probably wait awhile before making a phone call to my mother.

    I love those people. Yep, sure, I'll go the immaculate conception route instead of the sperm in the ute route.

    Christ on a pogo stick that's terrible. Moms. Wouldn't want to live with them, can't murder them in their sleep.

    If being around children made me more fertile... well I think 10-12 hours a week of babysitting 4 infants at once would have netted me at least one baby by now.

    Maybe you just need to take a vacation...or adopt! Everyone knows you get pregnant as soon as you adopt!Wink

    Gee thanks Mom :)  I had a friend tell me to use OPKs and I said they don't work on me, she told me then just have sex 24/7...hmm?

    Sh!t, I should have a litter by now!  I have been with the little boogers 5 days a week, 7 hours a day for 9 years!
