Birth Certificate?

I got the birth certificate from today. I see you need to get it notarized to get a certified copy. What does this mean? How do you do this?

Thanks!

I went to TCF bank, but most banks have someone who can notorize.  All you do is go in ask for the person who can notorize.  They will ask for your license.  Sign the form in front of them and then they sign and stamp it.

I did mine last Tuesday and already got her certified copy back.

I took mine to the counter at the Dakota County service center because I knew they had a notary. They were able to notarize and then print up the certificates right there at the counter.

My co-worker is a notary so she did it for me.

I know WellsFargo does it for free . You may have to bank there, though. Not sure.
