S/O - Let's talk convertible seats

My inlaws are also offering to buy a convertible seat for DD 1st birthday. Recommend yours! I'm sure this discussed everyday but I'm also sure there are some people that are interested in knowing. TIA

    We don't have it yet but we plan on getting a Safety 1st... the one that goes to 100 lbs.

    I bought 2 of the Evenflo Sypmphony 65's (Liberty Edition).  I really like it.  It goes from 5lbs - 100lbs so we only have to buy one carseat.  A lot of people like the Britax, but I think those only go to 40 or 65lbs, not sure.

    We bought the Priori Convertible seat.  It's so cute and it goes up to 65 lbs.

    Can I add a question to your original post?  Can you ladies recommend a GOOD rear facing convertible seat?  We bought the Saftery First Complete Air and tried to install it this past weekend and couldn't get it secure rear facing.  Guess that one will go in the secondary car forward facing.

    This is what we have and we have a highlander. It was tricky to install ourselves but the local PD got it done in no time at all.

    Call for a professional install before you write it off. We love these seats.
