Ella used to go to bed SO well. Up until 2 or 3 weeks ago. We moved her bedtime up 15 minutes each night until it reached 7:30pm. She is never overtired when she goes to bed. Or at least she doesn't seem so and I would've thought that if she were, it would've disipated by now.
She SCREAMS for a good 1/2 hour to 45 minutes in her crib before falling asleep. Of course we check in on her every 5 minutes, which I think makes it worse, but I feel like a bad parent letting her "CIO". She never ever used to cry, she would turn over and fall right to sleep. I just don't get it. Does anyone have any ideas. We do the same bedtime routine every night. Dinner, (bathtime every other night), story, song, brush teeth, bed.
Her "terrible twos" are shining through in the past month, so maybe she has more of an opinion and doesn't want to go to bed???
Re: So we're having bedtime problems
So you moved her bedtime to 7:30 from a later bedtime? Or you changed it because of the time change?
Could she be teething or sick?
I don't know what to tell you. If a later time has been working all along...don't mess with it. But I was a sleep expert b/c Reed is an awesome sleeper, I have since been demoted because Penny only sleeps with me.
you've got 5 weeks to figure that chit out.
lol.
Ava's bumped her bedtime almost 30 minutes later the past month.... is she just not ready that early anymore?
We moved it from 6:30 to 7:30. We weren't able to have quality time at night with her because her bedtime was at 6:30. Now we can do stuff with her. So I meant to say we moved it to a later time.
