Ok so I'm not even pg yet, but we will be ttc in the near future and I am already obsessed with baby names. I love the name Liam for a boy. Which do you like better:
Liam Luke
or
Liam Lucas
DH lost his best friend just out of h.s. and his name was Luke. I just wasn't sure if it flowed as well as Lucas.
Plus, I have always wanted to name my next DD (if I have one) Claire Elizabeth (Elizabeth is my grandmother's name). The only problem is that it is so common. I even know a person (not a close friend) who named her daughter this exactly. Do you think it is still ok or should I just suck it up and pick another name? I know Liam is becoming more popular as well, but so far I don't know anyone who has named their DS Liam.
Re: Luke or Lucas? (MN help)
i would go with william lucas or lucas william, depending on your last name, and then you can call him liam or luke and he will have a formal name as well. i'm not a fan of the double L thing, it reminds me of a cartoon character and sounds really informal with the two nicknames.
as for a girl, elizabeth claire flows much better but if you are worried about popularity, i'd change one of them to a less common name.
