I think they're all pretty much the same. Jakob had some multi-colored thing I bought at Target. Layna had the Winnie the Pooh one that a coworker found in his garage.
They all have adjustable height and lots of toys to play with, so pick one that you think is cute

We just bought the cheapest one we could find. Caroline loved it for a while but we only put her in it for 20 or so minutes at a time. She pushes it around from the outside now.
bobcatsteph....thanks for the picture!! i think i will see if they have one at once upon a child. dh keeps reminding me we can use it for the next child, too, but there are so many gizmos around the house, you would think we already have 2 or 3 lol

We have this one too and he has not figured it out yet but he can go backwards.
If she's close to the age that she'd be able to use that, I might hold off on getting a walker and get something like that instead.
He absolutely LOVES that thing. Yesterday, he walked all the way down to the park and almost all the way back home with it. He just learned how to steer it and it's really helping him learn to balance/walk. I know I hate spending money on toys that aren't going to be used for a long time, but I think the walker we have will because he can sit on it and ride when he gets bigger. Just an idea!

We have a few walkers like this and Caroline didn't really figure them out until 10-10.5 months at least. She loves them now and I think they're definitely a good investment once your DC can pull up. She was able to use the walker starting at 7-8 months.
Clynn - it took her a while to figure out how to go forward. She started off just going backward and getting stuck up against walls and stuff.

I have been afraid to get one of these thinking that he will just hurt himself with it. He loves to stand and has pushed other things around the house like you would a walker. Is anyone afraid of baby falling with one of these? I should probably get him one.

How old is she? Around 8 months, Will got a push-walker like this https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2659785&CAWELAID=107510376
