I am watching a friend's baby one or two days a week now and I have come to the realization that we really need a soft mat for the kiddos to play on. We have all hardwoods--which are beautiful--but tough on the babies' noggins while they're learning to crawl.
Do you know of a good interlocking play mat (foam or other material is fine) that can cover a large area close to 40 sq ft.? 6 x 6 would even work.

I am getting this this weekend
We have something like this:

Love it!!!
This is ours. We love it and the boys now love to break it apart and chew on the pieces.
So would you not recommend it then? Up until this point it sounded like a great option!
I definitely recommend it. They don't actually eat it and its a safe toy for them to play with. Plus we have wood floors so its a cushion.
We have that one too and love it. My DD doesn't break it apart yet, but she will chew on loose pieces. None of broken off LOL.
