Eli's done at the pedi

She couldn't tell if his ear was still red from the last ear infection or if it's still infected.  She gave me augmenten (sp?) and said that if he's still pulling and bothering his ear in a few days to start the new antibiotic.  Until then, just tylenol and zyrtec (to keep his sinus congestion from pooling when he sleeps and making things worse).

He had fun at Walgreens waiting for his medicine so he fell asleep on the way home.  He's napping in his car seat and mommy's "working".

The good thing is that pedi said we're at least 3 or 4 more ear infections away from an ENT visit.  Whew.

    I hope he does better. And I sure as hell hope he does better on augmentin than i have.

    Hopefully the augmentin will do the trick.  Be sure to start diaper cream NOW if you don't use it after every change already.  Aquaphor works really well too.  The augmentin is tougher on thier tummies than amoxicillin.  DS actually got 2 raw spots on his tush (one the size of a dime, the other a little larger) that lasted about a week.  Lots of after bath naked time, and diaper cream.  Luckily, the spots only bothered him when they were being clean Sad
