Pumping at work - what a PITA

I'm so glad I usually work from home where pumping is no big deal. I'm in Austin today & working from the office for the first time since M was born. It's such a pain to pump here & I feel so wrong having my boobs hanging out at work. I am in awe of you who do this every day!

    Most days I actually don't mind one bit. It's a nice built-in break.

    Today you're catching me on a bad day. The department meeting ran almost an hour late, through when I was supposed to pump. I got engorged and ended up with BM on my silk blouse. And since I had to pump almost an hour late, my boobs won't be as full when I get home to feed DD and she'll get less. me = pissed.

    Like I said. Catching me on a bad day.

    I seriously wanted to pull and Office Space on my pump after I was done and take a bat to it w/ some gangsta music in the background.  I didn't  - but the thought was sooo tempting.

    I know what you mean. I started back at work yesterday and I feel like everyone is picturing my boobs when they see me coming out of an office (I have a cubicle and pump in an empty office) after pumping and walking around with my little cooler of milk.

    This is rich...i got to pump in a hotel restroom stall today  I considered flushing over and over to drown out the sound but decided that would just be more suspect.  . That's mommy-glamour.

    I am fortunate that we have a designated room, but its across from a break room and next to where our construction team sits.  The guys always pretend they don't see me coming out of the room so they don't have to acknowledge I just spent 20 minutes squeezing milk out of my boobs.
