One more LOST post (spoilers)

I was just reading the recap on msnbc.com about last nights episode and turns out the island is a "cork".  That is the 4 letter word with an O in it.  It is there to keep all the evil in.  Which is why locke monster cannot be allowed to leave the island.

That's all I got.  Back to work now.

    Yes  Don't know why I couldn't put that together myself!  I kept thinking "but hell doesn't have an "o" in it!  (I still don't think it's hell, by the way).

    Duh! Thank you.  When I was thinking about the 4 letter word with an "O" in it, I couldn't figure it out from last night's episode.

    Can I add that I'm a little disappointed that the mystery four letter word is just a metaphor?

    I just watched last night episode.... I am not 100 percent that MIB is the devil. ?I still think its a?possibility?that Jacob is the devil. ?It was all very Adam and Eve-ish for me. ?Temptation, choice and free will. ?Also I do not trust Hurely when he said that Isabella told him that Richard needs to keep the MIB on the island. ?We never heard her specifically say that to him. ??

    When Isabella said she did not trust him when she looked into his eyes Richard responded... the black smoke. She never agreed. ?

    I feel that its a?possibility?that the writers left it for us to assume that MIB is the devil and that Jacob is not, but in fact we have it all wrong. ??
