Is a FlipIt stroller worthwhile?

I know these are getting more popular but it seems to me that it would make the most sense to have a newborn facing me and a toddler facing outwards, and that's what a traditional travel system does already.

Does anyone have a FlipIt stroller that loves it, or is it not worth the extra feature? Here's the one I'm considering. https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3914650 .

Then again, I feel I may get more use out of something smaller and more lightweight, since I am 5'1 and petite and don't love the idea of taking a heavy stroller in and out of the trunk if it's not worth it. I am torn between the above stroller and the Graco LiteRider, which has its own disadvantages but seems just my size.

Any advice or opinions would be appreciated! TIA!

  • I think it would be nice to have, but not necessary.  I'm petite as well (smaller boned, 5 feet tall) and I manage to get a Graco duo glider in and out of the trunk without a problem.  The first little while is tough, but you get stronger and it gets easier!

  • I'm the same height as you and I love our City Mini. It fits me perfectly. And I think it'd be nice for me to have DD face me without the infant carrier, but I don't think she'd prefer it. She likes to look at all the people going by.
  • I have a reflux child and would love to have a stroller where he faces me, I am actually considering buying it just for my peace of mind.

  • Thanks ladies for the help! I have decided to stick with it.
